A new way to look at the debate - Predestination

One concept I see Christians debate over is the
concept of who chooses who...
In Calvinism, it's called Unconditional Election. Meaning that God has predestinated some people to receive salvation - which can only mean the opposite is also true - that He has predestined some people for hell.

I don't personally agree with this theology, as I believe that God is not willing that any should perish - which means that salvation isn't fully dependent upon God's will. If it was, no one would miss Heaven - yet we know there are many that do. I believe our free-will casts the deciding vote on where we spend eternity.

Yet, Romans 8:29 talks about God predestinating us:
For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified

So here is the way I'm looking at this. God exists outside of time. Where God is, the concept of past, present and future of all eternity is always instantaneous.
Isaiah 46:10 tells us that He knows the end from the beginning.

Peter wrote: with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.

So, if God exists outside of linear time, and if we are with God when we die - that means that we will exist outside of time.

No here's the cool part - that means that if you are ever going to get to Heaven - you are in fact already there...

So when God had to decide who to predestinate, all He had to do was to look around and see who was with Him in Heaven already. I believe that is what Paul meant in Romans when he says "those whom He foreknew, He also predestined "
