Costco Bighorn Safe Rust

I moved my safe for the first time in 2 years. It was sitting in my bedroom on the carpet in the corner. When I moved it, I noted what appeared to be a big stain on the carpet. Turns out is was a big pile of rust.

I checked the bottom of the safe, and sure enough - a big rust spot.

There was no water leak internally or externally. The rust particles vacuumed up fine. There is no stain or mildew smell where the safe was.

Anyone else experience this?
