But if he's the last R standing, he'll get my vote. A commitment most T'sters won't make for the other candidate(s).

Just admit that you have other concerns/priorities that outweigh your support of the 2A. Because if you are voting for a Democrat candidate, that's exactly the choice you are making.

A slim minority of Dem's oppose gun control
A slim minority of Republicans support gun control
A large majority of Dems support gun control
A large majority of Republicans oppose gun control
More Dem's in office means more GC and more Republican's in office would mean less GC.
