Scoping an already sportered 1891 argentine?

I am keeping my eye out for a Loewe marked 1891 Argentine mauser that is already been sporterized. I had been looking for a cheap enfield when I stumbled onto these fine rifles. Since there is PPU ammo available they are not super expensive to shoot and with antique status, no ffl to deal with.

I am looking for feedback on scope mounting. In particular, does the sun optics or similar jig work well with these rifles. Any suggested rings or mounts?

Have a line on an already scoped one, just want to make sure the guy agrees to antique it and not require an ffl. If not i will keep looking.
