SKS Legality

Hey all,

Been a member of the forum since I bought my first Sig 1911 in Feb of this year. Unfortunately I am not heeding the gunshop owner's recommendation not to buy another gun because then they will breed....

I really am keen on getting a rifle like the SKS. I'm debating between getting one of AudioPhil's Yugo SKS's because its clear they're legal in CA. I've found several Russian Tula Models on GunBroker.com, but am unclear if they're legal to bring into CA.

I prefer the Tula's as they actually are the true SKS's, but the YUGO ones look pretty nice..
