Two turkeys real quick!My friend Ken and I were hunting in the Vacaville Hills earlier this morning. Heard many toms at daylight and had a few fly down in the field, but about 200 yards away from the blind. Could not entice them to come to the decoys that early, but around 7:45 am two more toms came into the field and then came running when I started up the electronic tom decoy. They ran right towards it. One was killed at 55 yards with a 12 gauge and I killed the other at 35 yards with my 20 gauge. We counted to three and fired and both dropped. Boy was this a lot of fun! Should mention that both were jakes (it didn't matter to us). One was 18lbs 7 oz. and the other was 15lbs. 9 oz.
