M1 Carbine Manufacture Date/Paperwork questions

Question for the FFL's:

I have an CMP M1 Carbine at the FFL waiting for the paperwork to be completed and I just have a few questions:

1 How do I show/prove the manufacturing date? There are a few online databases showing serial and dates of manufacture so I am not sure if that is acceptable proof.

Based on the paperwork, it's a 6 digit serial number # 757xxx. Based on this website: http://ift.tt/1YwUb9G it appears to be an Inland, manufactured in 1942.

2 I have a 03 C&R FFL and valid COE, can the 10 day wait be waived?
