My dad is 69 years old and told me that he just bought his first two guns, an AR-7 and a Glock 17. I was pretty surprised by this - I'm pretty sure he hasn't fired a weapon since he was in the Army Reserves back in 1970. I told him that I would take him to the range but he's also not in the greatest health and has some trouble getting around.
