Colt New Frontier .22 sa revolver

A friend at work asked me about a NF .22 he has had for a while, his pops had it and left it with him when he was truck driving and has since passed away I went to Colts website and enter the s/n, it shows no results. Is there any way besides Colt to figure things out?

It is a New Frontier.22, blued 4 inch bbl and cyl, a funky finish on the frame, black plastic grips and a funny front sight. The rear is adjustable. There are no markings on the cylinder that say .22lr or mag. Everything I have found says it is a Duke Com. model, but, there is no engraving on the bbl stating that. All the Duke models, from what I have seen, have the New Frontier stamped on the rt side of the bbl and the Duke engraving on the left. "Colt's PT.F.A Mfg, Co. Hartford Ct. U.S.A. on top of the bbl. s/n G219xxx.

Any one got any ideas? Looks just like this one, but there are no markings on the rt side of the bbl.

Forgot, there is scrolling engraved on the bottom of the backstrap.
