Is the Springfield XD what I've been looking for all along?

My 4" XD45. What a sweet shooter. Don't get me wrong, there are aspects that I feel could be improved, but man I can't put it down when I get to the range. Now the real question: is it too big to CCW?

I love my glocks. I love my 1911's. Still, this fills a niche.

The sights are metal - unlike my Glocks, the grip angle is 1911-esque. The trigger reset isn't as good as a Glock. The break isn't as crisp either. But it's accurate as hell and the thing just goes and goes.

Yea, it has a LCI, but it's not intrusive. Yea, it's heavier than a Glock, but it's a range toy. Yea, it's more expensive than the original HS2000. Yea, Glock has stronger aftermarket support. What else am I missing here? These should be more popular.

I also layed this on top of my G19 and it's only barely larger. Given the 10 round max world we live in, I might rather carry this than my G19 workhorse. Thoughts?
