Was in a free state recently and was able to shoot a new Ruger 9E. Basically a SR9, slide machined a little differently, one mag instead of 2, and it comes in a cardboard box instead of the plastic case that the SRs came in. The one mag it comes with though is a much nicer mag than you get in CA (humor). $379.00 out the door btw.
About 150 rounds down range, not a single failure of any kind. It's a nice shooter.
Just thought I would share. Target was at 10 yards, double taps.
