He, like I, questions military authority/command policy in regards to restricting/prohibiting firearms on military installations effectively leaving most personnel, uniformed soldier and DOD civilian alike, defenseless against armed attacks most of the time.
Fort Hood and the Washington Navy Yard shootings should be a clear bell-ringer here.
I like an American President or candidate who questions any anti-Bill-of-Rights activity perpetrated by US military commanders and I applaud such Commander-in-Chief/prospective Commander-in-Chief who might use executive powers or any US Senators and Congressmen who might act to counteract it.
By the powers vested in elected officials by the Constitution in the United States of America, elected federal officials have superior powers over our military.
CO's who implement anti-gun policy on bases and in units are cowards and pinkos. These same hypocrites often keep loaded pistols on their persons or in their offices at all times to save their own necks on base.
