YUGO SKS GL BE GONE

I just got my new/old YUGO SKS today and spending some time cleaning all the beautiful COSMOLINE. The GL has been removed from the rifle and now I have all these threads that look amazing but I would like to cover them.

Am I allowed to put a threaded muzzle brake on this and if so where can I get one?

I'll be sitting here with my can of wd40 and rag just scrubbing away....feel free to let me know my options.
